Day 17: I'm Not The Only One

Today's topic is pretty boring so I am just going to get right to it. Today's song gets a ton of play. . . on the radio. People love to love it but don't really seem to get it or we'd be living in a much different world.

So here it is, a song often heard on the radio:

Imagine by John Lennon

Lyrics

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

So, next time you hear this song on the radio, which, if you listen to the radio, will be shortly, I challenge you to imagine a world in which people listen to this song and actually take the time to understand the words that they're warbling along to. Imagine a world in which people adhere to/believe in the message professed in this much beloved song.
